Berjaya China Motors has just launched the Chana Era Star II van.The Era Star II van is available as a panel or semi-panel van.for the vans, they both measure in at 3,980 mm long, 1,620 mm wide and 1,890 mm high. The panel van has a cargo space of 2,010 mm in length and 1,370 mm in height and is offered as a two-seater. The semi-panel van gets five seats, while cargo space measures in at 1,110 mm long and 1,250 mm in width. Both have a wheelbase of 2,560 mm, while the panel van weighs 1,100 kg and the semi-panel model at 1,115 kg (kerb weight).
Elsewhere, the van and pick-up models have a Macpherson independent front suspension and a leaf spring dependent rear suspension. Both also utilise front disc brake and a rear drum brake (with vacuum booster).
Standard items that can be found on the Era Star II vans include a black bumper, a silver front grille, front foglights, body-coloured side mirrors, high-mounted brake light and rear combination lights. Inside, it gets power front windows, air-conditioning, two speakers, a radio system with AUX port, reading lights (front), an electronic instrument cluster and many more standard features.
